MEMBERSHIPS
- Russell & Russell has membership of the E-Homebuying Forum.
The E-Homebuying Forum comprises industry leaders who are frustrated with lack of progress in improving the home buying and selling process over the last ten years. We have the technology, the commercial nous and the political will to make the process better for buyers and sellers, but the initiatives introduced by government have not fully delivered on this potential.
The members of the Forum are working in collaboration with Government and industry groups to encourage the development of commercially viable initiatives that deliver "Faster Certainty" to homebuyers and sellers.
The E-Homebuying Forum first published its Blueprint for the Future of Homebuying in March 2009. The Blueprint sets out recommendations for improvements to the home buying an selling process that, if adopted, would bring greater efficiency, transparency and commitment to the process - ultimately bringing faster certainty to consumers.
- Russell & Russell is also a member of the Conveyancing Association.
The Conveyancing Association is a non-profit making body representing conveyancing operations throughout the UK with a view to shaping the future of conveyancing. It is the voice of the commercially-minded, service-focused conveyancer, ensuring that they have real influence on those who make the decisions that affect our market. The Association aims to be the first point of contact for all industry stakeholders or interested parties who need to discuss conveyancing.
The members process a wide variety of conveyancing and property transactions acting for both private and corporate clients. All members process their work supported by IT systems which are focused on ‘quality’ and ‘service’.
The Association is represented on all serious, conveyancing focus groups and will continue to become involved in any new groups in order that our members are kept fully informed.
Stephen Crompton, head of conveyancing at Russell & Russell is a member of the Executive of the CA and also sits on Strategy Committee Meetings.
